Spain

Couple of updates

We have a new postal address:

Apartado de Correos 71
Camarles
43894 Tarragona
Spain

The old one will work for a while – but this one is in our village and easier for us to use.

Also – we have a Caravan Bookings Calendar – on the right Nav bar of this blog – should you wish to check availability.

Solar panel upgrade

Monday we changed our panels over to the Tracker system – which follows the sun around all day, and then starts again in the East the next morning – very high tech – and is supposed to provide up to 50% more power. Sadly – no sun since we installed it – but it looks nice.

Looks great – and will hopefully do the business.

Wild Asparagus….

Last night we ate some wild asparagus that we found on our land, stir-fried with a little wild garlic in our own olive oil.

Pretty damn good.

It has been cloudy, with a few spots of rain for the last few days, and the forecast is for more rain this week – good for our water supply, and the trees, but not so clever for our furniture which is still stored in our tent.

They hope to finish the painting inside the house this next few days, and then we can at least get it out of harms way. Would be nice.

New blogging tool

Hopefully this will make my blogging a lot more easier and faster, and will allow me to update more often – Windows Writer.

At first look – it appears that something useful – and free – may have come out of Microsoft.

Almond Blossom Appreciation Society

Spring is in the air – really great to see the days warming up again, even if it is still cold at night. The Almond blossom is truly fantastic – everywhere you go, you see little clouds of pale pink through to white blossom, and it’s only Feb – roll on the summer.
