Why can’t they leave it alone – if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
After the wholesale changes employed by the previous ‘Facebook Experience Upgrade’ caused most of the chatter on FB to disappear overnight, they are now intending to force yet another change on us all.
Timeline view is no longer going to be an option but compulsory viewing in the not too distant future.
I have always enjoyed FB as a place to pop in, laugh, comment or otherwise be sarcastic at the antics of my FB friends, but it has always nagged at the back of my mind that I do not enjoy it.
I have always preferred the longer text of an email, or a blog entry to the ‘How great am I’ soundbite that we utilise on Facebook (I’m guilty of this as well).
Well, adios FB – I will use you to post my news from afar, but never will I darken the doors of your portal again. All comments will go unanswered but you will find me lurking here, or over on Google+ which is ‘socialising for serious people’.
